As RENAISSANCE prepares for her first Mediterranean summer charter season, Burgess introduces Captain Craig Macbeth, one of two captains at the helm of this exceptional superyacht.
RENAISSANCE represents a new era in superyacht charter, and Burgess presents her to the charter market in summer 2024. The yacht will be in the Western Mediterranean from May.
‘We’ve worked hard to get RENAISSANCE ready for charter’ says Craig. ‘Now we are very excited to show her off.
‘Imposing, light-filled and cosy is how I describe RENAISSANCE. Imposing for her sheer size. Whereas her light-filled interior spaces make her feel spacious and cosy as well.
‘The main deck salon area is all of this. A dining-lounge area with a mezzanine – it has so much natural light.’ Design credit for achieving this delicate balance goes to the award-winning British studio Bannenberg & Rowell.
With six decks for charter guests to enjoy, highlights include the expansive beach club showcasing the latest watertoys, plus a bar and waterside dining area, a stunning swimming pool on the main deck aft and a fabulous spa deck.
The captains and crew are rightly proud of their work to get RENAISSANCE to this point. ‘We are looking forward to getting out there this summer season. Putting her through her paces and seeing the wowed reaction from the guests,' adds Craig.
