The 49m (160.9ft) LA DEA II was built by American shipyard Trinity Yachts with her exterior designed by the yard's in-house team and interiors by Sylvie Charest. Built to ABS class (she has just passed her scheduled ABS survey) and MCA compliant, the yacht has been lovingly maintained under current ownership including a superstructure repaint in winter 2017-18 and a royal blue hull repaint in winter 2015.

Her sun deck, redesigned in 2013-14, has an outsized jacuzzi for eight guests forward surrounded by sunpads and shaded if required by parasols. There is a lounge under the hard top and versatile space aft for yoga, exercise equipment or entertaining. A tender can be stowed on the sun deck aft on passage.

The yacht's generous beam means unusually spacious deck areas. The bridge deck aft has a lounge and a large decked space that could be used for entertainment but currently serves as an open air dining area. Sliding glass doors lead into a sky lounge with large picture windows.

There is a fully equipped bar starboard aft, a games table forward and a lounge to port. The day head lies just off the lobby.

Aft on the main deck is a large shaded lounge served by a fully equipped bar.

The main saloon also presents wonderful views through large windows. Aft there is an area of marble flooring where exercise equipment can be set up and a large, naturally well lit saloon.

She welcomes 12 guests in five cabins. The main deck full beam owner's suite has two walk-in wardrobes, a his and hers bathroom with shower and jacuzzi and a private study.

Two double cabins with US king size beds and two twin cabins (both have additional berths and the starboard cabin converts into a double) on the lower deck complete the accommodation. She also sleeps up to nine crew in four cabins.

Twin Caterpillar 2,250hp diesel engines give her a top speed of 21 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,000nm. Her all aluminium construction gives her a draft of just 2.3m (7.6ft) and Quantum zero speed stabilisers ensure comfort at anchor.

She passed her 10 year survey in winter 2016 following extensive upgrades the previous winter and her generators were completely rebuilt in 2017.
