The Fijian archipelago consists of 322 islands in the Pacific Ocean. Only a third of these islands are inhabited, with a fascinating cultural blend of Melanesian, Polynesian, Indian and Chinese, mixed with a little European colonial history. The islands range from large, volcanic lush mountains to tiny tropical atolls barely peaking out of the majestic ocean. Its untouched beauty and isolation makes the area one of the most exciting and exhilarating places to explore.
