Another wonderful sailing yacht with a great feel at the helm, on calm days her 240hp Cummins diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 10 knots
GALMA is built in carbon fibre with a Frers’ designed RINA-classified hull. Refitted in 2008, she has been meticulously maintained and upgraded. She offers regatta-winning performance when fully crewed and easily handled cruising when shorthanded. In the last six years her Southern Spars’ mast, racing and cruising booms were repainted and serviced along with her ECsix continuous carbon rigging, hull and superstructure were repainted, and her B&G electronics were replaced. She has full North Sails wardrobes for racing and cruising, from 2013 and 2016.
The guest cockpit is line-free for absolute safety and shaded by a removable awning
From the large foredeck, wide sidedecks lead aft to the cockpit lounge, shaded by a removable awning, with guest seating around a dining table. Aft are two deck terraces suitable for sun lounging and a section of transom folds down to create a swim platform. A light, contemporary saloon has a dining table to port and a large settee and coffee table to starboard, aft of which is a nav station. Forward are two double cabins, en suite and each with a deck hatch and a pullman berth, and aft is a full beam owner's twin cabin, en suite with two deck hatches, two hull ports and windows looking out over the aft deck.
