The 42.8m (140.4ft) expedition yacht GLOBAS, from Sanlorenzo's 460 EXP series, has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure built to RINA classification with exteriors by Francesco Paszkowski Design and contemporary interiors and naval architecture by the shipyard. This 468GT yacht was delivered in 2018 and refitted in 2020.

The sun deck has a raised jacuzzi forward with sunbathing either side and aft is a versatile space for sun lounging, relaxation or entertainment. Beneath the hardtop there is open-air dining for 12 guests, a lounge area and a fully equipped sit-up bar with a dumb waiter and Teppanyaki grill. Guest steps to starboard lead down to the upper deck.

On the upper deck aft is another adaptable deck space, for sun lounging or entertainment, and full walkaround sidedecks give guests 360 views of the anchorage. The main deck aft las a large glass-sided pool and a vast deck space for stowage of a number of adventurous watertoys, from tenders and waverunners to seaplanes and submersibles, all launched by a large deck crane. Steps aft lead down to the swim platform and the transom folds down to create a huge swim platform and reveal a beach club with massage room and dayhead. There is also a gym on the lower deck.

The main saloon has a more intimate lounge area aft with access to the aft port via full-height sliding glass doors port and starboard. Forward is a larger lounge area with sofa seating to port opposite a 46in pop-up TV. Forward is a formal dining area for 12 guests and there is a dayhead off the main lobby.

The sky lounge has excellent views through full-height windows and sofa seating faces a 55in TV that rotates to serve the upper deck aft. There is another dayhead off the upper deck lobby.

She welcomes 12 guests in six suites. The full-beam owner's suite is forward on the main deck and has a private office, lounge seating to starboard, a vanity table to port, walk-in wardrobe and his-and-hers bathroom with shared shower. The rest of the guest accommodation, three double suites and two twin suites, all en suite, and she also sleeps up to nine crew.

Twin 1,300hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a top speed of 15.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and transatlantic range of 4,000nm at her passage speed of 11 knots. The sale also includes two Axopar tenders.
