We are delighted to bring to market the 44.2m (145ft) motor yacht HORIZONS II. She is available for inspection now at the Foreign Trade Zone at Lauderdale Marine Center in Florida and keenly for sale as her owner now has another yacht.
She has a Portuguese bridge forward on the upper deck for privacy in port
HORIZONS II has exterior design and naval architecture by high-speed specialist Don Shead and interiors by the celebrated Claudette Bonville. Her aluminium hull and superstructure were built to ABS classification and delivered in 2004 by Australian shipyard NQEA Yachts. She comes to market after her annual yard maintenance period, which included significant upgrades such as new AC chillers and new props and shafts.
She has a sporty top speed of 27 knots
Her strong but lightweight construction means her twin 3,700hp MTU diesel engines give her a top speed of over 20 knots and a maximum range of 2,300nm at her passage speed of 14 knots, making her an all-purpose performer, and a shallow draft of 2.3m (7.5ft) allow her access to ports and anchorages others can't reach and Naiad zero speed stabilisers ensure comfort at anchor.
The forward sun deck, aft is a multi-purpose deck space
With an internal volume of 458GT, she has impressive guest deck spaces throughout. Her sun deck has a C-shaped lounge forward that doubles as an open air dining option. Moving aft there is a raised jacuzzi with a sit-up wet bar and further aft is a versatile space that can be used for sun loungers, exercise equipment, yoga or entertainment.
Sun lounge on the upper deck aft with walkaround sidedecks leading forward
The upper deck aft has a spacious sun lounge aft with sofas around coffee tables and walkaround sidedecks lead forward to a Portuguese bridge lounge, creating a private space in port.
Open air dining on the main deck aft
The main deck aft has open air dining with banquette seating aft and occasional chairs around an adjustable height table.
The sky lounge has a fully equipped bar and excellent views
Her upper deck sky lounge has excellent natural light through near full-height windows that wraparound aft, creating an outdoor feel. Aft is relaxed lounge seating, forward is a fully equipped bar, there is a 55in TV on the forward bulkhead and a dayhead off the lobby.
The main saloon is aft of the separate formal dining room
The main saloon has a CV-shaped lounge around a coffee table. There is a separate formal dining room forward to port and to starboard is a lobby area, again with a dayhead.
The owner's bedroom, separate from a private lounge
The owner's en suite, naturally lit by a skylight
The owner's suite, full beam and forward on the main deck, is reached through a private lounge area. There is a separate bedroom to port and a diagonally orientated en suite with skylight and his and hers basins either side of an oval bath backed with marble. On the lower deck, a VIP cabin with en suite bath and shower and two double guest cabins with showers complete accommodation for eight guests in four cabins.
