The 108m (354.2ft) yacht IJE was conceived, built and delivered for a very experienced owner as the ultimate world-cruising family yacht and has only ever been used privately. The owner's highly experienced build team worked closely with sought-after British design studio RWD, the Italian shipyard Benetti and naval architect PierLuigi Ausonio to deliver a relaxed, informal beach house-style yacht with the complete range of superyacht features.
Redefining the indoor-outdoor concept is a theme that runs throughout this bright, airy 3,367GT yacht. The main saloon has full-height sliding glass doors port and starboard enabling the entire space to be opened up while dining, relaxing as a family or entertaining guests.
The space is also open aft where there is a huge dining area, bar, lounge seating and a large pool, lending itself perfectly to family use or for parties of any scale.
The lower deck has a beach club aft and a vast gym to starboard with a huge sea terrace, among the largest of any yacht in this class.
To port is a huge garage for two tenders and an array of toys and there is also foredeck stowage for two very large tenders, at 12m (40ft) - a requirement of the owner to facilitate comfortable family cruising worldwide.
Notable entertainment features include a lower deck cinema, a nightclub with full bar and DJ console for entertainment in complete privacy whether in port or at anchor, and a bridge deck games room opening onto the aft terrace lounge that surrounds a firepit.
Main deck wellness facilities include a beauty salon and a massage suite that doubles as a hospital, and there is a steam room adjacent to the lower deck gym. An elevator serves lower to bridge decks.
Both bridge and owner's decks have walkaround sidedecks and the owner's deck leads forward to a touch-and-go helipad that also doubles as an entertainment space. The owner's deck, with full-height windows all round, has a bedroom suite forward, his-and-hers bathrooms, dressing room, a private office with lounge and a family lounge and dining area and a spacious aft terrace with open air dining and a sun lounge aft. An intimate sun deck above the bridge deck provides privacy in any setting.
There are six further double guests suites on the main deck and four more family-friendly convertible guest cabins on the lower deck, all with step-free access to the gym and beach club. In all she welcomes 22 guests in 11 cabins and accommodates up to 32 crew.
Twin MTU 7,720hp diesel engines give her a top speed of 18.5 knots, a cruising speed of 16 knots and a vast range of 6,500nm and an electrical Schottel stern SPJ pump jet for silent running. Two pairs of Naiad zero speed stabilisers ensure guest comfort at anchor. She is a step aboard and sail away proposition.
