LADY ELLEN is a 36.8m (120.7ft) yacht built by Benetti to stylish interior and exterior designs by Viareggio-based studio Arnaboldi. She was delivered in 1996 to an experienced owner attracted by the comfortable sea-keeping qualities of this strong, steel-hulled displacement yacht.
A regular maintenance schedule and extensive refits, most recently in 2016 following a full repaint and engineering and electronics upgrade in 2014, see her present to the market in exceptional condition. Lying in Greece and awaiting inspection, she is priced to sell quickly and all expressions of interest are invited.
Her sun deck has a lounge area aft, with sun loungers forward flanking a jacuzzi protected from the breeze by glass screens. On the bridge deck is an intimate sky lounge leading aft to an adaptable covered space for dining, entertaining or relaxing. There is a spacious formal dining area forward on the main deck that seats eight with ease, and a larger main saloon with bar, similarly convivial, leads aft to an informal dining area on the aft deck. Steps to starboard lead down to a teak swim platform with bathing ladder.
She welcomes up to 10 guests in five cabins. The owner’s suite is forward on the main deck and continues the theme of mood lighting and cream-coloured panels balancing natural wood tones. There is a marble bathroom with bath, shower and his and hers wash basins, a walk-in wardrobe, vanity table and seating. Both saloon and sky lounge have home cinema and sound systems by Sonos accompanying Sony LCD TVs, and owner and guest cabin are also equipped with recently upgraded audio-visual equipment.
Twin Caterpillar 3408B engines enable a top speed of 13kn. She will cruise at 11kn for around 3,600nm, with Vosper stabilisers smoothing the passage, and for maximum economy she runs at 9.5kn.
