Our charter experts recommend Greenland from April to June and Iceland from May to June. The pristine wilderness of Alaska offers incredible skiing from April to mid May and for those seeking the ultimate in trophy skiing, Antarctica is perfect from November. 2021 offers added celestial thrills with a total solar eclipse taking place on 4 December in Antarctica.

Built for purpose, this 72.2m (237ft) Damen yacht support vessel, built in 2017 and refitted in 2020, is kitted out for every adventure. Welcoming up to 17 guests in eight cabins, she has the all important helicopter, a submersible for dives over 1km deep, PADI dive centre and a crew including expedition and wildlife experts.

She will consider charters in Alaska, Iceland and Greenland in 2021 before heading to Antarctica for the southern hemisphere summer.

Charter LEGEND in Greenland


Refitted in 2019, this 77.4m (253.9ft) ice breaker combines luxury, exploration and adventure like few others. She welcomes up to 22 guests across a private master deck, three VIP suites and seven other cabins. By request she has two helicopters available for larger parties and a submersible, as well as a jacuzzi, pool, gym and wellness centre.

Flexible crew accommodation means there's space for expedition and wildlife experts as well as ski guides.

HANSE EXPLORER in the Arctic

47.8m (156.7ft) HANSE EXPLORER will be cruising the treasured wilderness of the Arctic, including Iceland and Greenland, from May to September before heading south to Antarctica where she has a space in her schedule from 29 November to 11 December. She has no helipad but her crew have contacts ashore who can arrange for helicopter pick up to reach those far distant glistening slopes.

Charter SERENGETI in Alaska

This 39.6m (130ft) Westport will be in Alaska from mid May 2021. A walkaround main deck makes her very well suited to whale watching and her captain has cruised these waters many times so knows how to deliver the very best of Alaska with every charter. She has no helipad but rendez-vous ashore can be arranged to get her 12 guests to the best slopes, all starting from USD 120,000 per week.
