The sale of LADY ELLEN II, formerly a part of the Burgess Central Agency brokerage and charter fleets, was successfully concluded on 10 February in the waters off Greece.
Athens-based sales representative Dimitris Maroulis and Monaco-based sales broker Thibault Roi led the negotiations from the launch to the market until the closing.
It is our global knowledge and local expertise, combined with a sophisticated database of buyers, sellers, prospects and yachts, that has enabled us to close this sale successfully. The ability to share this knowledge among 220+ fully employed staff in 14 offices around the world is unique to Burgess and it's why, for yachts over 40m, Burgess is, year on year, the world's most successful broker.
LADY ELLEN II is a 48.3m (158.5ft) yacht delivered in 1996 by leading Italian yard CRN Ancona to exterior designs by Paolo Scanu and interior designs by French studio Zuretti. She underwent extensive improvement work in 2015, which was executed so well that she won the Rebuilt Yacht category in the World Superyacht Awards 2016.
We wish both the yacht and her new owner many happy years together.
