The 35m (114.8ft) SPIRIT was built in composite to ABS standard by New Zealand Yachts, with exterior design and engineering by Brett Bakewell-White's Auckland studio and interior design by British designer Ken Freivokh.
SPIRIT is the largest wave piercing power catamaran superyacht currently for sale globally. Her 10.8m (35.4ft) beam makes her very stable underway and at anchor, and slender hulls with a shallow draft of just 2.1m (6.9ft) mean she is easily driven so very fuel efficient.
At 304GT, has the volume of a yacht 10m (30ft) longer and, like her smaller sistership ULTIMATE LADY, she could be fitted out to become a world class sport fishing yacht.
A draft of 2.1m (6.9ft) gives her access to anchorages out of bounds to others
She was delivered in 2005 to award winning acclaim and extensively refitted in 2016-17. During the refit she was thoroughly overhauled mechanically, upgraded technically including AV/IT, her hulls, both double skinned for safety, were repainted and her interiors were refurbished. She also received a foredeck jacuzzi, two new tenders and several upgrades to her sport fishing capability.

This include a GBR cruising permit, a fantastic website, social media accounts and a multitude of forward bookings bringing a potential new owner an enviable income.
The view forward to the sun deck bar
Her sun deck has a U shaped sit-up bar beneath the hardtop, a flybridge helm station forward, sunpads aft and versatile deck areas for gym equipment, BBQ or entertainment. A spiral staircase port aft leads down to the bridge deck aft, which is the private terrace for the owner's suite with bar and seating.

The suite itself has an office, sofa, dressing room, en suite and the bed is diagonally positioned with a rotating pop-up TV at its foot to serve both bed and lounge. Walkaround sidedecks make sightseeing and marine life spotting easier and also provide access to the six-person jacuzzi on the foredeck, surrounded by banquette seating with optional shade from awnings.
The hydraulic platform at main deck aft level
The main deck aft features a large decked space with open air dining. Aft is a huge hydraulic platform across the space between the two hulls that expands the entertaining space on the main deck aft. The platform lowers to 1m (3ft) below the water for ease of access to and from the water and also for recovering the tenders and toys.

A corridor leads forward to the main deck guest suites, off a lobby naturally lit by decklights, with two double cabins and two twin cabins, each with an additional berth, completing accommodation for 12 guests in five cabins. She also sleeps up to 10 crew.
