USD 7m price reduction on KOGO

To attract offers and ultimately a sale, the owner of KOGO has instructed us to reduce her asking price. This award-winning northern European yacht is now asking USD 62,500,000 and she will be available for inspection during the Palm Beach International Boat Show.

KOGO is a 71.7m (235.2ft) yacht with an ice-classed steel hull and aluminium superstructure built to Lloyd’s classification and MCA compliance. Delivered by French shipyard Alstom Leroux Naval in 2006, she has Tim Heywood exteriors, Terence Disdale interiors and naval architecture by Burness Corlett Three Quays.

She has diesel electric propulsion with twin 2,145hp Caterpillar engines driving two ABB Azipod drives. With the Brunvoll bowthruster, this enables dynamic positioning. She has a top speed of 17kn, a cruising speed of 15kn and a range of 5,000nm at 11kn.  Four Quantum zero speed stabilisers ensure stability at anchor.

Her sun deck has a large jacuzzi, bar and open-air dining. The bridge deck saloon features a bar, gaming table and lounge area, with sliding glass doors opening out onto a large sun lounge that doubles as an outdoor cinema.

The main deck dining room seats two tables of eight or one of 16. Opposite is the main saloon, which doubles as an entertainment centre.

From the aft main deck steps lead down to a fold-down swim platform and a large beach club area well suited to parties. On the lower deck there is a well-equipped gym, steam room, shower room and massage room.

She welcomes 14 guests in seven suites. The spacious owner’s suite is forward on the main deck with a bedroom to starboard, a lounge-study to port, two walk-in wardrobes and an en suite with his-and-hers wash and shower facilities and a shared bath. She has two double cabins on the main deck and, on the lower deck, two further double cabins and two twin cabins complete her versatile guest accommodation, She also sleeps up to 21 crew.
