Burgess presents a selection of the best large yachts for charter

As superyachts have grown ever larger, Burgess has always been at the forefront, acknowledged as the experts – and no more so than in large yacht charters. The Burgess managed yachts dominate the 70m+ charter market and their expertise and knowledge in the area is second to none.

At 95m INDIAN EMPRESS is one of the largest yachts available for charter. Fast and stable, her sheer volume gives her a unique and dominating presence. There are 17 cabins for 12 guests and with over 30 staff, the guest:crew ratio is equally generous. There will always be a trained crew member waiting in the massage room or beauty parlour…

TITANIA has dark gloss interiors and spa facilities, but with a modern twist. At 73m she has room for two master suites, as well as one VIP and four guest cabins. There’s an abundance of large entertaining spaces, but also smaller, more intimate areas for quiet relaxing. Her large Jacuzzi with swim-up bar are a popular feature of the upper deck, as is the lower deck beach club which doubles as a nightclub.

Superyacht TITANIA entertaining space

Similarly INVICTUS has great entertaining spaces and a striking dark wood interior. There is a bar on every deck and the sundeck is an open flexible space. Her interiors are generous for a 66m – with 9 cabins for 12 guests as well as a gym and movie theatre. INVICTUS’ elevator may be a common feature on large yachts, but her wheelchair accessibility is a welcome addition.

TRIPLE SEVEN is a stylish modern yacht with bright interiors, and like so many in her size class, she features extensive facilities: steam room, jacuzzi, cinema, beach club… More uniquely she only has 5 guest cabins – but of course that means space. This yacht is perfect for the adventurous charterer with an open sundeck and truly vast list of watersports kit including a fly-board, jet skis, scuba, towables and kite surfs to mention a few.

Another yacht which focuses on outdoor living is SIREN – the main deck bar serves the aft deck and the main salon, and the master suite boasts a fold-down balcony. There are even both indoor and outdoor cinemas. Cool, bright, minimal interiors reflect the generous outdoor spaces and she also has room for lots of watersports equipment.

GRACE E, like SIREN, is a World Superyacht Awards winner – and it’s easy to see why. Her ample sundeck is re-imagined as a ‘wellness’ deck. There is room for lounging round the jacuzzi outside: inside there is a massage room, wet/dry sauna and hydrotherapy room. Across five decks, the guests can find plenty more outside spaces as well as calm, light interiors (there are seven guest cabins and 20 crew to take care of you).

Finally, SOLANDGE is hard to beat. This 85.1m Lürssen with stunning dark blue livery, has vast volume that can accommodate 12 guests in flexible accommodation. The interiors are lavishly decorated and offer many guest spaces including a cinema, gym and spa complex. There is a 5.5metre infinity pool with swim jets as well as two jacuzzis: one is on the owner’s private deck, the other converts into a dance floor, creating an al fresco nightclub on the sun deck.
