Burgess is delighted to welcome the expedition yacht TITAN to the brokerage fleet with an asking price of EUR 9,750,000.

Delivered in 1968 by British yard Brooke Marine, TITAN began life as HMS Beagle, where she served in the Royal Navy up until 2002 before being privately sold.

Eventually completing her conversion in 2005 and relaunching as TITAN, this 60.4m yacht may have been given a luxury facelift but she certainly didn’t lose any of her ocean-going capabilities.

Peter Sampson Design oversaw her refurbishment and while updating her technical specifications and design, TITAN remains capable of achieving a transpacific range of 7,000nm while cruising at 10 knots, with a huge fuel capacity of 135,000 litres. As an explorer yacht, TITAN is used to cruising in often remote locations, where she is fully self sufficient for long periods at a time. She has also benefitted from regular maintenance periods since she joined the superyacht fleet and today presents in immaculate condition, ready to cruise for the summer.

Built to Commercial Passenger Code, TITAN can carry up to 24 guests across 12 spacious cabins including a 90 sqm owner’s suite complete with office and private saloon. Her timeless styling also hailing from the design rooms of Peter Sampson adds an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere on board.

As a popular charter vessel, TITAN already has an established revenue stream, should the owner be interested in continuing this commercial opportunity.
