Burgess has sold the spectacular 55.9m sailing yacht SALUTE, the two impeccable explorer yachts MEA CULPA and SAFIRA, and the sporty FOOLISH PLEASURE, all in the same week.

The sloop rigged performance yacht SALUTE is an evolution of the Perini Navi 56m series and boasts the tallest aluminium mast in the world. Her stunning Rèmi Tessier interior garnered a World Superyacht Award in 2009, and offers en suite accommodation for 12 guests in six cabins. The asking price was USD 35,000,000.

MEA CULPA, a 42.4m adventure yacht built by McMullen & Wing, underwent a recent price reduction and was sold within two months of being listed by Burgess. The yacht recently completed an extensive engineering refit, having cruised the globe since her delivery in 2003. The asking price was USD 14,900,000.

The 39.3m ‘green’ explorer yacht SAFIRA found her buyer at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), following a 20% pre-show price reduction. Delivered in 2013, this global explorer yacht features an ice-strengthened hull, energy-efficient systems that reduce fuel consumption and GPS dynamic positioning that allows her to stay in place without anchoring. Eco-friendly materials were used throughout her construction, and she won a 2014 ShowBoats Design Award for naval architecture. Her asking price was USD 19,950,000.

The fourth yacht sold in this extraordinary week was FOOLISH PLEASURE, also recently exhibited at FLIBS. This 21.3m Italian-built yacht is impeccably maintained and has accommodation for eight guests in four cabins. The asking price was USD 795,000.
