We are delighted to announce that Burgess has been appointed as the exclusive worldwide Central Agent by the High Court of Malaya to assist with the judicial sale of the 91.5m (300.2ft) yacht EQUANIMITY, delivered by Oceanco in 2014.

At 2,998 GT, she was built to comply with the Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) and can accommodate 18-22 guests in 9-11 suites (one master suite with a study that can convert into a second double cabin, one VVIP suite, three VIP suites, one of which can convert into a fourth double cabin, two double cabins and two twin cabins) in addition to 28 crew.

Her interior was designed by Winch Design using a variety of exotic materials. Her amenities include an impressive beach club and health centre with gym, massage room, sauna, hammam, plunge pool and beauty salon. Other amenities and equipment include a hospital, a helipad (certified for an Airbus EC-135 or equivalent), two 10.5m (34.5ft) Hodgdon tenders and a 20sqm (215sqft) circular swimming pool.

EQUANIMITY is powered by two MTU 20v 4000M73L diesel engines providing a maximum speed of up to 18.5kn. At cruising speed of 14kn, her range is 5,000nm.

The judicial sales process will follow strict guidelines, but essentially shall be by the submission of sealed bids by qualified potential buyers, to be opened by the Sheriff of the High Court of Malaya in November/December 2018. We are advised that in accordance with Admiralty law, the judicial sale will provide the buyer with an internationally recognised ownership title free of mortgage, attachment and all encumbrances.
