Five Burgess charter yachts have been announced as finalists for the prestigious World Superyacht Awards 2015. The 10th anniversary award ceremony, which will take place in Amsterdam on 9 May, celebrates excellence in superyacht design and build across the industry.

GRACE E – Finalist: Displacement Motor Yachts under 75m, from 1,300 to 2,999GT

Available for charter with Burgess from USD 595,000 per week.

This brand new superyacht caused a stir when she was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2014 and has been justly rewarded with a World Superyacht Awards nomination. Built by Picchiotti/Perini Navi Group with a sublime interior by Rémi Tessier, she is 73m of effortless comfort and style, meticulously designed for owners who envisaged a spa at sea. The dedicated wellness deck features everything from a meditation room to a hydrotherapy room with sauna, jacuzzi spa pool, gym and massage room with a steam sauna. Elsewhere, a fitness pool and beauty salon are complemented by seven luxurious cabins providing accommodation for 12 chilled out guests. With an environmentally conscious dynamic positioning system that allows the yacht to stay in place without dropping anchor, GRACE E is the next generation of luxury superyacht.

MOONRAKER – Finalist: Semi-displacement Two Deck Motor Yacht – 38m and above

Available for charter with Burgess from USD 217,000 per week.

Fast, sleek and stylish, the 49.9m MOONRAKER is available for charter in the Bahamas all year round. With her striking, modern styling and heart-stopping speed, this exciting sports yacht reaches up to 40 knots, and cruises at 33 knots. Contemporary deck areas provide endless lounging space, and a jacuzzi flanked by Nikki Beach-style sun pads. MOONRAKER is all about living the high life; guests can select from 96 bottles of fine wine, stored in stylish glass cabinets that line the walls of the main salon. With a lower deck cinema room and a gym with ‘emotional’ shower/steam room, this uber-modern superyacht has accommodation for up to 10 guests in four/five chic, comfortable cabins.

Available for charter with Burgess from EUR 196,000 per week.

A truly state-of-the-art sailing yacht, MONDANGO 3 showcases the sleek, superior lines of Dubois Naval Architects, merging outstanding performance with eye-catching style. Designed for long range cruising in extreme comfort, her swing keel centreboard allows access to shallow anchorages, and electric glass screens in the cockpit provide protection from the elements. A stunning Reymond Langton interior incorporates soft curves, luxurious fabrics and bright flashes of colour throughout the guest areas and five spacious cabins. Currently circumnavigating the globe, you can catch MONDANGO 3 in Thailand in February, and French Polynesia in summer 2015.

GALAXY – Finalist: Refitted / Rebuilt / Converted Yachts

Available for charter with Burgess from USD 273,000 per week.

Completely transformed following her 2014 refit, GALAXY’s uber-cool, relaxed vibe attracts a young, high profile clientele. With an original Warhol in the owner’s study and quirky sketches by Jean-Michel Basquiat, the yacht is littered with original works of modern art. Further stylish touches include Eames-inspired leather chairs in the sky lounge, a back-lit onyx bar in the main salon and Le Corbusier-style chaise longues set into window alcoves. The stunning split-level owner’s suite includes a Nikki Beach-style private cinema with a huge, elevated day bed and studio-effect sound. A total of 12 guests are accommodated in six cabins, including a VIP, two doubles and two twins. The sublime sun deck is the place to hold a party, with a jacuzzi and climate-controlled gym, while a variety of dining options are offered across several decks. GALAXY is currently chartering in the Caribbean and will be based in the Mediterranean in summer 2015.

MY SEANNA – Finalist: Refitted / Rebuilt / Converted Yachts

Available for charter with Burgess from USD 350,000 per week.

Fresh from an extensive 18 month rebuild, the 56.4m (185ft) MY SEANNA underwent a 7.6m/25ft stern extension that has created vast deck areas on three levels. This exciting new space includes a pristine new beach club, outdoor cinema, a new, oversized, waterfall jacuzzi with a swim-up bar, a sauna, on deck gym equipment, an outdoor dining area and luxurious sun beds. There is a crow's nest at the top of the yacht with a table, chairs and large panoramic sun bed and, in the sky lounge, a state-of-the-art curved television is connected to a submarine camera showing the tropical ocean below. MY SEANNA has accommodation for 12 guests in a master suite, a brand new VIP suite on the sun deck with 180 degree ocean views, and four double cabins.
