12 February 2019

Come and see us at the first major American show of the year, over the Presidents’ Day weekend, February 14-18, 2019.

Burgess will be attending the 2019 Miami Yacht Show and will have yachts on display, for both sale and charter, on Dock B at the Island Gardens section of the show, located at Watson Island.

Delivered in 2012 by Abeking and Rasmussen, the 60.9m (199.9ft) EXCELLENCE V will be on display with Burgess. Both her interior and exterior were designed by Reymond Langton Design. With a gross tonnage of 1,632, her volume is equivalent to that of a yacht 20% longer. Find her on Dock B, Slip 34-36.

We’re also showing the 51.8m (170ft) LAZY Z, delivered in 1997 by Oceanco to exterior designs by Richard Hein/The A Group with interiors by Oceanco/Therese Baron Gurney. Transformative refits in 2015 and 2017 have brought her up to date mechanically and have greatly improved her interior and deck arrangements. She’s in Slip 38 on Dock B.

The 44.2m (145ft) HORIZONS II, delivered in 2004 by the Australian yard NQEA to provide the ultimate sport yacht, is also new to market. Her all-aluminium build means shallow draft, just 2.3m (7.7ft), and high cruising speed, making her ideally suited for cruising the US East Coast and Bahamas. She presents immaculately. Her current owner has spared no expense in maintaining her to a high standard, including the installation of Seakeeper stabilisers and new teak decks.

For sale too is the 34.1m (112ft) M, a 2016 delivery of the successful SD112 series of yachts from the Sanlorenzo shipyard in Italy. She features naval architecture and styling by the yard, including the vast curved sliding doors that, once open, turn the sky lounge and the large aft bridge deck into a seamless living space. A fold-out balcony terrace on the starboard side of the main lounge also brings the outdoors in.

In addition to the yachts for sale, in Slip 44 Burgess will have the sleek and sophisticated GREY MATTERS on display and available for charter. This 45.7m (150ft) yacht was delivered in 2007 by Palmer Johnson and refitted in 2014.

Please visit the Burgess stand if you would like to arrange a viewing on any of our yachts on display and a Burgess broker will be happy to show you around.

This year’s show, the 31st, heralds a change in set up that sees the show grow in size, both on water and on land, with new luxury lifestyle features. The show is centred on the One Herald Plaza location in downtown Miami, and spreads between the MacArthur and Venetian causeways, taking in Sea Isle Marina, so everything is closer to our Island Gardens base, and our office in Miami Beach Marina.

We look forward to seeing you at the show!
