Burgess has secured the sale of the largest superyacht to be sold this year. The magnificent 90m NERO was sold today, providing optimistic signs that the market is increasing in confidence.

Inspired by the elegant ‘Corsair’ series of yachts owned by the financier JP Morgan in the early 20th century, NERO echoes the authentic line and form of the classic steam yacht. But her traditional appearance belies a thoroughly modern build, incorporating all the speed, luxury and state-of-the-art technology of today’s superyachts.

Following a resoundingly successful five year charter career, hosting an illustrious guest list on board, this truly unique vessel has now been sold by Burgess in their role as Joint Central Agents. The asking price was €39,950,000.

Bluewater represented the buyer in this sale.
