Burgess is delighted to announce that FAIR LADY is now offered for sale with an asking price of EUR 5,750,000.
FAIR LADY instantly transports you back to an elegant era of 1920s gentlemen’s motor yachting. This 36.9m (121.1ft) classic beauty, built by Camper & Nicholson in 1927, was one of the crowning achievements of designer Charles E. Nicholson's career. She was completely renovated in 1996, comprehensively refitted in 2006 and refitted most recently in 2013, all by Pendennis.
One of her many attractions is the number of original fittings she retains. From the ship’s wheel and brass binnacle in the bridge and the hand-crafted pear wood with marquetry inlays in the card room, to the rich mahogany-panelled dining room, she oozes the elegance of the Roaring Twenties. Classic in style she maybe but she also bristles with the latest navigational and communications equipment, adding safety and convenience to her abundant period charm.
The cabins on the lower deck are accessed via separate staircases forward and aft. The aft double and twin have en suite bathrooms, original portholes and a warm feel with traditional, understated décor, expertly recreated by John Munford and inspired by the original Nicholson design. The full-beam master suite midships is spacious and elegant with bathroom, bureau and sofas nestled beneath the portholes to port and starboard. Further forward, two comfortable single cabins each have their own washbasin and share a large guest bathroom.
-The original 1920s features have been faithfully restored and enhanced
-Comprehensive refit completed in 1996 at Pendennis, that same splendour and beauty was recreated by John Munford's new designs for the aft saloon and aft cabins.
-Dining areas on two decks and an expansive sun deck
-Boston Whaler Outrage 17 tender with 130hp Yamaha capable of 45 knots
