Burgess On Tour - Summer Osterman, Charter Broker, Miami
In our ongoing efforts to provide exclusive VIP experiences for our valued clients as well as attract new business prospects for the amazing fleet of yachts we represent for charter and sale, Burgess participates in many exciting events outside the yacht industry.

Once each year, on the third Sunday in August, about 200 of the most prized collector cars and motorcycles in the world roll onto what is often called the best finishing hole in golf - the famed eighteenth fairway at Pebble Beach, California. Tyre meets turf and transformation occurs: the stage is set for one of the most competitive events in the automotive world. The occasion is the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Burgess has partnered with Rolls-Royce to offer a host of VIP experiences throughout the weekend for our guests including exclusive access to the Rolls-Royce villa for private receptions and dinners, test-drive opportunities including the new Wraith, and a special brunch at the Rolls-Royce Hospitality Suite on the lawn during the Concours on Sunday.

This year’s Concours will take place on Sunday, 18th August.  Please contact your Burgess representative if you are interested in joining us at the 2014 event.

Balearic Islands open again for charters next year - Neil Hornsby, Charter Director, London
The Spanish Government has accepted at Ministerial level the formal request for the elimination of the 15 metre limit to apply for the exemption of the Matriculation Tax on yachts carrying out Commercial Activity. This is good news as it effectively opens the door again for clients wishing to charter in the Balearic Islands, one of the most fabulous cruising destinations in the Mediterranean. With our office based in Port Adriano, Mallorca, we are well placed to service your needs so make sure you consult your Burgess broker for the best yachts to charter in 2014.
