The autumn boat show season is in full swing and with the Monaco Yacht Show now behind us, we are turning our attention to the most important in-the-water exhibition in the Americas ­ the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (25 to 29 October 2012). Burgess will be exhibiting 10 superyachts for sale, including the spectacular CAKEWALK, Icon Yachts’ much admired BATON ROUGE and the impeccable Feadship APRIL FOOL.

We will also be showcasing an interesting array of yachts in the 40m to 53m (130ft to 173ft) size category. A team of experienced brokers will be attendance to fast-track clients around the show and onto the yachts. Derecktor Shipyards, USA

Built at Derecktor Shipyards to exacting standards under the close supervision of a highly experienced and knowledgeable owner’s team, CAKEWALK is a remarkable vessel in all respects. Her flowing lines and accentuated curves were created by Tim Heywood Design, lending the yacht a fabulous presence on the water and making her instantly recognisable.

CAKEWALK’s classically styled interior was designed by Elizabeth Dalton and despite her volume and grandeur, retains an atmosphere of both intimacy and warmth.
