Earlier this year, IMPERIAL PRINCESS commanded global attention as winner of the Three-Deck Semi-Displacement category at the World Superyacht Awards 2013 and was also a finalist in several categories at the ShowBoats Design Awards. The yacht has now joined the Burgess Central Agency charter fleet and will be located in the Caribbean for the forthcoming winter season.

Princess Yachts is renowned for the quality and performance of its designs and this large volume 40 metre yacht (measuring in at an impressive 395 GRT) is the first in their M Class range of impressive semi-custom trideck superyachts.  Her interior, conceptualised by leading superyacht designers Bannenberg & Rowell and expanded upon by the in-house design team at Princess, epitomises sophistication and contemporary elegance within a relaxing neutral colour palette. The main saloon is bathed in natural light from its large windows and features a 3D TV, fold-down balconies to port and starboard, and a forward dining area. Panoramic views can be enjoyed from the sky lounge which is also fitted with a large 3D TV and leads out to a spacious al fresco dining area for 12. Well-appointed accommodation offers space and luxury for 10 guests in 5 en suite cabins all equipped with satellite TV and telephones, and special touches such bathrooms fitted out in stone and granite with underfloor heating. The impressive full beam master suite on the main deck is approached via a private study and features a 3D TV along with his and hers bathrooms (also with a TV above the bath). The lower deck incorporates two full beam VIP suites and two twins. A professionally designed galley incorporates a dumb waiter to link to the upper deck for guest service.

There is plenty to occupy guests on board IMPERIAL PRINCESS, ranging from a high specification audio-visual system, high speed WiFi and gym equipment to a beach club (the stern door folds outwards to provide an extended 3m platform) with privacy screen; and a garage full of water toys, including a fast custom built 6.3m ski boat, 3 seater waverunner, kayaks, wake boards, paddle boards, waterskis, scuba equipment and even golf clubs with floating balls! The large sundeck was conceived for indulgent open-air living to the full and is equipped with a 55” TV, ample sun loungers, jacuzzi, bar and retractable sunshade. An additional sunpad is located forward of the Portuguese bridge.

Safety and security features include both night vision and infra-red cameras as well as twin S and X bands long range radar. On the technical side, IMPERIAL PRINCESS is just as impressive: triple insulation against noise and vibration provides additional comfort but also extra weight, so this has been mitigated with full vacuum infusion. Such pioneering innovation results in a hull weighing 20% less than a traditional hand-laid hull, which in turn brings heightened performance and efficiency. IMPERIAL PRINCESS cruises at an average 12 knots and can reach a top speed of about 22 knots. She is fitted with zero speed stabilisers to ensure comfort at anchor.
