Monaco Yacht Show Review & Gearing Up For Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
Last week's annual Monaco Yacht Show, is Europe’s most prestigious in-the-water event and it was an exciting one for Burgess. With 6 of the show's most coveted yachts on display and a further 20 yachts out at anchor, the Burgess team of experienced brokers were busy fast-tracking clients around the show and onto the yachts.
With a number of offers on yachts recieved during the show, Director of Sales, Tim Wiltshire, said “The real proof of the success of the show will be determined by the number of new transactions concluded over the next 2 months or so. However early signs are that the market is improving and the level of serious interest at the show was positive. It would be a mistake to predict a return to a bull market however we are quietly confident that a few well priced boats will sell and that a steady recovery of the market lies ahead.”
On this positive note our attention now turns to the most important in-the-water exhibition in the Americas: the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (31 October to 4 November).
Set across six locations and 3 million square feet of exhibition space, Florida’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show presents a terrific opportunity to browse and buy. Burgess will be exhibiting some of the best superyachts for sale and we will be announcing a list of yachts on display shortly…so stay tuned.
Let Burgess be your first port of call at the USA’s premier yacht show. To register your interest in attending the show now, please contact a Burgess broker in: London, Monaco, New York, Miami, or any of our other office locations.
