Born and raised in Colombia, Paulo moved to Europe before relocating to New York City where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baruch College and gained experience in real estate.

In 2025, he moved to Miami and joined Burgess in August of the same year. Inspired by his passion for yachts and the luxury lifestyle they represent, he found the journey naturally aligned with his diverse international background and multicultural experiences.

As a charter management assistant, Paulo works with charter managers to oversee 12 yachts, ranging from 50 SHADES OF PLAY at 33.7m to CARPE DIEM at 58.2m, operating in regions including the United States, the Caribbean and Bahamas, the Mediterranean and the Pacific.

When asked about his career highlights so far, Paulo looks to his colleagues. ‘Working alongside highly talented and experienced professionals has been both inspiring and rewarding. Their knowledge and expertise have motivated me to continually strive for excellence, contribute at my best, and continue building a long-term career in this industry.’

Outside of work, Paulo enjoys going to the beach, exploring nature and discovering hidden gems to unwind.
