With over 25 years’ experience in the leisure marine sector, including over a decade of focus in the Middle East, Jonathan has led all Burgess company operations across the MENA region since 2016, from the regional headquarters in Dubai. He has brokered the sale of many large yachts, both regionally and internationally, delivered local and international charters to a diverse client base and provides continuous support to the yacht management team regionally.

In addition to his eight years of experience managing marinas, which includes four years as GM of the award-winning Dubai Marina Yacht Club, Jonathan’s expertise in the leisure marine and travel sectors lends itself to his ongoing professional involvement in the industry’s developments. He has consulted on various projects and initiatives during his time in the Middle East, including developing the region as a prime superyacht destination and supporting improvements to charter regulations, particularly in the UAE.

Outside of work, Jonathan is a keen skier, sailor and windsurfer, and enjoys spending as much time as possible on the water.
