His career at sea began with Shell, where he navigated the world’s oceans and gained invaluable insight from secondments to Shell’s headquarters at Shell Centre. He later honed his operational skills as a deck officer with P&O Ferries, mastering the intricacies of high-traffic cross-channel routes. 

Before joining Burgess in 1999, Will transitioned ashore to apply his technical and commercial acumen to the rapidly evolving world of maritime technology. As an Area Sales Manager at Racal-Decca, he played a pivotal role in marketing and supporting cutting-edge radars, integrated bridge systems, and electronic navigation solutions. His three-year tenure in Houston, Texas, saw him establish a robust sales and service network across the Americas, further sharpening his leadership and strategic capabilities. 

Now a Partner at Burgess, Will is at the forefront of fleet operations, bringing together technical precision, commercial insight, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
