Lucia joined Burgess in 2025, with a yachting background working as a stewardess on vessels ranging from 30–65m cruising the Mediterranean. She holds a degree in History from the University of Exeter, where she developed a particular interest in American neoclassical architecture. During her time at university, she was a founding member of a society dedicated to introducing students to working on board yachts.

Outside of work, Lucia enjoys reading, running, cooking for family and friends, and exploring the outdoors with her dog. She also has a keen interest in interior design, architecture, and, owing to her heritage, South American culture.
