SILVER STAR I is a brand new 55m (180.4ft) Admiral yacht built by The Italian Sea Group. Constructed in aluminum throughout, to RINA classification, she has a semi-displacement hull form, a raised bridge and sky lounge, and two decks of Owner and guest accommodation.

The head-turning contemporary exterior drawn by Italian Sea Group’s in-house designer Gian Marco Campanino includes some interesting innovations. She carries a circular touch and go helipad on her foredeck which also serves as a spacious and elegant forward sun deck with a commanding view – and there’s stowage under the sunpad cushions for a rescue tender.

At the stern, an elongated swim platform with high, glazed bulwarks effectively creates a split level main deck aft of double the size, giving huge potential for water-level dinner parties and large gatherings. The space inside the transom includes a store for water toys, a dayhead and shower.

The main sun deck atop the superstructure is another highlight, dominated by a very large jacuzzi with a bar under a central hardtop and sunbathing space astern. The upper aft deck gives another very large outdoor space with dining half shaded by the sun deck overhang and a sun lounge aft.

With 499GT of interior volume, she is designed to host up to 12 guests in six cabins with separate accommodation for the captain and 11 crew. The custom interior décor boasts furniture, fabrics, and materials sourced from the well-known Italian luxury fashion designer Armani. The main saloon is laid out with a formal dining space aft, featuring 270-degree panoramic views through full height windows, and the seating area forward, configured as a media lounge. The full beam owner’s suite is forward on the main deck with a separate dressing room and his and hers bathrooms.

Five guest cabins including a full beam VIP suite are on the lower deck, with separate crew’s quarters in the bow. On the bridge deck, the captain’s cabin is tucked in between the wheelhouse and the sky lounge, which is configured as a gym. There’s a side-launching garage in the bow for an 8m tender and several jetskis.

Twin Caterpillar C32 Acert diesels with a combined 1,926hp give a top speed of around 18 knots and cruising speed of 16.5 knots. On a long-distance passage she has a speed of 10 knots and a range of 3,500nm. CMC zero speed stabiliser fins are fitted.
