Launched in 1976, TAKA 30m (98.4ft) has the heritage that many lust after. This beautiful classic Sparkman and Stephens design returned to the water after a thorough and thoughtful update during her 2024 refit. Now in immaculate condition, with a modern and fresh interior, TAKA has been adapted for individuals with disabilities to cruise with friends and family on this gracious yacht. Boarding is easy via the wide gangway, and a removable stairlift gives access to the sun deck for all. Combine these with the main deck master suite and a single berth suite also on the main deck – neither age nor ability is a barrier on TAKA.

Generous picture windows line the lounge, allowing light to fill this stylish space. The colourful artwork on the forward bulkhead is the focal point of the lounge area. Scatter cushions, on the large, light-coloured U-shaped sofa, match the colours in the artwork to create a vibrant, fun atmosphere. To the rear is the formal dining area, as perfect for lavish special occasions as it is for intimate dining. There’s also a TV here, so you’ll never miss a movie or sporting event.

Forward of the main lounge is the master suite. Generous windows on either side provide welcoming views to this relaxing retreat. In addition to a desk and a rise-up TV, the suite also features separate his and hers en suite bathrooms. Perfect for refreshing yourself at the end of a day on the water. On the lower deck, there are two twin-berth suites, each with a pullman berth. Finally, accessed from the cockpit, is the main deck single suite.

Take the stairs to the sun deck and spend the afternoon on the large sunpad. Savour drinks from the bar or enjoy the chef’s culinary creations at either of the sheltered al fresco dining areas – there’s no need to interrupt board games or books to dine. There’s a smaller dining area in the cockpit. Ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or refreshing drinks during an exhilarating afternoon, making the most of TAKA’s watersports equipment.

On board, you’ll find something for everyone, from fast rides in the tender to being pulled along behind it on waterskis or a selection of towable toys. Also on TAKA, there is fishing and snorkelling equipment, a SUP, and a kayak.
