Burgess is delighted to announce that the iconic sailing yacht MARI CHA III is now for sale. One of the highest performance yachts of her class, she is asking USD 8,500,000.

Delivered by Sensation Yachts in 1997, this 44.7m (146.7ft) sailing yacht perfectly combines world-class racing performance with luxurious liveaboard comfort. 

With a lightweight yet robust carbon composite sandwich hull, she is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots with just 14 knots of true wind. She can also hit a top speed of 14.8 knots under the power of her single 600hp Caterpillar engine.

This exceptional sailing performance has seen MARI CHA III retain hold of numerous race records, and she remains one of the fastest super-sailers afloat.

Designed by Philippe Briand with elegant and timeless interiors by John Munford, MARI CHA III provides a sophisticated and welcoming environment ideal for both extended cruising and competitive sailing. Up to eight guests are accommodated across four beautifully appointed cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite with en suite bathroom, as well as one double cabin, one twin, and one with upper and lower beds.
