If you’re looking to cruise the islands of the Adriatic in a sailing yacht with a very generous amount of living space, LOVE STORY 43m (141ft) should be on your short list. Purpose built in 2021 as a luxury yacht for private charter, this ketch is designed to host up to 12 guests in six cabins with service from a crew of eight.

The outside guest areas on board include a spacious sundeck with lounge and dining areas plus a jacuzzi with a large expanse of sunpads – a rare feature to find on a sailing yacht – plus a foredeck lounge, an aft deck dedicated to sunbathing and a main deck passenger cockpit with day beds and a 12-seat dining table in ample shade. A broad bathing platform folds down from her stern with a freshwater shower and two swim ladders for easy access in and out of the sea.

A key feature of her guest accommodation is that she has two almost identical master suites, both with sofas, desks and king size beds, so she’s an ideal yacht for two families or couples sharing a charter. Each of the masters has a full marble en suite bathroom. The other guest cabins are two queen size doubles and two twins, all of which have private en suite bathrooms, TVs and wi-fi.

Most of the main deck’s interior is a comfortable, contemporary styled lounge with a cocktail bar, a TV lounge and 12-seat dining table. Wherever you choose to sit, there are excellent sea views through big windows all round.

She carries a large RIB tender, a jetski, waterskis and paddleboards plus snorkelling and fishing gear, so there’s always plenty to do when the anchor goes down in a beautiful cove.
