An iconic anchorage in the far northwest of Raja Ampat, Wayag is famed for its otherworldly beauty – jagged limestone pinnacles rising from a turquoise lagoon, jungle-covered islets, and white-sand coves. Paddleboard or kayak through the maze-like karst formations, or hike up for a dramatic panoramic view that defines the essence of Raja Ampat.
Kabui Bay
Sheltered and serene, Kabui Bay is an anchorage surrounded by towering limestone cliffs draped in lush vegetation. The bay’s calm waters are ideal for kayaking or paddleboarding through narrow channels and mangrove forests. Pantai Merah
This is one of fewer than ten pink sand beaches in the world. The soft rose-coloured hue comes from foraminifera – microscopic red organisms that live in coral reefs and wash ashore. Koh Rok Noi and Koh Rok Yai, Trang
Literally the inner and the outer Koh Rok islands, both islands are part of the Mu Koh Lanta National Park. Plenty of clown fish in the anemones and a good chance of seeing turtles and reef sharks.
