VELA’s traditional exterior style contradicts her chic modern interior. Bright and welcoming, her two-tone light-and-dark wood interior exudes comfort and style. On deck, the al fresco lounge and dining areas allow you to absorb your majestic surroundings. There is an al fresco formal dining area on the foredeck along with shaded day beds. Ahead of the dining area, there are freestanding sun loungers. To the rear, on the main deck, is an aft al fresco lounge area shaded by the master suite aft deck terrace above. Above this deck is the sun deck. Here you’ll find a lounge area for uninterrupted relaxation.
Descending the stairs will return you to the upper deck. Here you’ll find your master suite. Graced with 180-degree panoramic views, you can relax in bed and take in the surrounding views. To port is the shower room; to starboard is the heads; and between is the open-plan bathroom. There is a spacious double VIP suite on the main deck. Picture windows on three sides offer guests views to rival those of the master suite. On the lower deck, there are three double suites – one with an additional single berth, making it an ideal family suite, and there’s a twin/double convertible suite too.
If you enjoy diving, you can take in the delights and marine biodiversity of cruising the heart of the Coral Triangle that sits between the Pacific and Indian oceans. Over three-quarters of the world’s coral species are found here, and more species of reef fish are found in the Coral Triangle than anywhere else in the world. VELA comes fully equipped with 12 dive kits, PADI dive instructors, and air and Nitrox compressors. Even if you have no diving experience, you can learn on board. Alternatively, snorkelling gear is available for younger guests and those who prefer to stay close to the surface.
For other ways to keep you and your guests entertained, look no further than VELA’s toy box. Here you’ll find two Waverunner PWC, two SeaBobs, waterskis, a wakeboard, SUPs and kayaks. On board activities include exercise equipment, weights and yoga mats.
