Burgess is delighted to announce that EJI has joined its sales fleet with an asking price of EUR 42,000,000.

The 55m (180ft) four-decked superyacht EJI was launched in May 2018 by the famed Dutch builder Amels for an exacting owner, making her the latest 180 from its highly successful range of Limited Edition superyachts. Her dynamic and stylish exterior is the work of the ever-popular British designer Tim Heywood and her refined, sophisticated interior is by the Rome-based Studio Laura Sessa.

This remarkable yacht has been designed to take the ‘outside-in’ concept to another level. She has huge windows in all the living spaces and three folding balconies on the main deck. Two of these are port and starboard of the formal dining area, allowing guests to withdraw with a digestif and enjoy the sunset without breaking up the party.

Sessa has emphasised and enhanced this yacht’s abundant natural light by using contemporary styling to create an airy, restful and positive ambiance. The design features contrasting veneers of dark Walnut and light Tanganika Frize, Italian fabrics and leathers, clean lines, sensitive use of mood lighting and splashes of primary and pastel colours to nurture a mood that is instantly and generously welcoming.

Her exquisite full-beam 77 sqm (828 sqftmaster suite continues the ‘outside-in’ theme with its own starboard side balcony. This provides her owners with their own secluded terrace to begin and end the day in complete privacy, surrounded by natureThe en suite continues the theme of contrasting earth tones, this time in carefully selected and beautifully worked Crema Marfil and Canadian Brown marbles with his and hers basins in White Onyx. A walk-in wardrobe / dressing room and an owner’s office complete these remarkable quarters. An adjacent guest twin cabin with en suite is perfect for the owner’s family.

Three double cabins and a further twin are located aft on the lower deck, all equally distinguished in finish and decor and with en suites continuing the contrasting theme with Namibia White and Emperador Dark stones. These complete the accommodation for 12 guests. Up to 13 crew are accommodated in three single and five double cabins forward.

Aft of the owner’s suite is the dining room bookended by the aforementioned folding balconies. Aft of that is a stylish and spacious saloon area with subtle red design detailing, that leads to a fully equipped bar where guests can pick up a sundowner and walk through to a sun lounge. Steps either side lead down to the beach club area with day head, sauna and steam shower, and retractable bathing steps lead from the swim platform to the water.

The bridge deck saloon, equally bright, spacious and refined but with pale blue detailing, opens out onto 61 sqm (656 sqft) sky saloon with an al fresco dining area for 10 guests and another sun lounge aft. Steps lead up to a vast 25m (82ft) sun deck, encompassing 155 sqm (1,668 sqft) of sun-drenched teak decking with 3,000-litre jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads and al fresco dining for 12 guestsSun loungers forward, on an area above the wheelhouse that doubles as a helicopter landing deck, are sheltered from the wind by low glass screens but those aft are open to a cooling breeze. A bar and teppanyaki grill ensure guests are well looked after.

EJI’s performance is similarly accomplished. Twin MTU 16V 2000 M70 diesel engines give her a top speed of 15.5 knots and her fuel capacity gives her a transatlantic range of 4,500 nm at a continuous speed of 13 knots. Naiad active speed stabilisers with zero speed function ensure comfort underway and, on arrival, at anchor, when her 7.2m (24ft) and 5.3m (17ft) tenders will be craned off the foredeck and into action.

Burgess is delighted to be able to welcome EJI to the sales central agency fleet. She is currently in the South of France and available for viewing by appointment. Please contact your Burgess broker for more details.
