The Palma International Boat Show 2026 (PIBS) marks the official start of the Mediterranean yachting season, bringing over 300 yachts and the world’s leading superyacht brands to Mallorca. Set along Palma’s vibrant waterfront, the show merges world‑class yacht exhibitions with the island’s renowned culture, cuisine, and lifestyle.
With boat builders, equipment suppliers, toy manufacturers, naval architects and refit specialists all in one place, PIBS continues to grow as one of Europe’s most influential events in the yachting calendar.
What is the Palma International Boat Show?
The inaugural event of the Mediterranean cruising season, the Palma International Boat Show is a four-day showcase of motor yachts, sailing yachts, tenders, equipment, and emerging technologies.
Held in Marina Moll Vell, right beside Palma’s Old Town and cathedral, visitors can tour over 300 years on display and explore the latest innovations from 295 exhibitors. As well as this, expect demonstrations, talks by industry leaders, and a dedicated refit and repair area spotlighting Mallorca's leading reputation for maintenance and repairs in the industry.
Superyachts on display
Traditionally known for its strong sailing yacht presence, Palma remains one of the world’s top sailing hubs thanks to its ideal wind conditions, pleasant climate, and Mediterranean location. While recent years have seen more large motor yachts join the lineup (today it’s about a 50/50 split), the Palma Boat Show stands apart when compared to other yacht shows for its breadth of sailing yachts on display – impressive when they make up only around 10 percent of the global market.
The Superyacht Village
The dedicated Superyacht Village plays host to the yachts at the show, where vessels over 24m for both sale and charter can be viewed. There’s a varied mix of size, style, and builder pedigree, making this show particularly valuable for those new to yachting to explore the market and seasoned owners looking for their next opportunity.
As with every year, Burgess will be at the show to present a selection of the finest brokerage yachts on display, with our full lineup to be announced closer to the show.
Refit & Repair Zone
Visitors can also explore the specialist Refit & Repair Zone – a curated area showcasing Mallorca’s shipyards, technical experts and lifecycle support services. This is ideal for owners considering upgrades, full refits, or technical project planning.
Superyacht New Build Hub
New for 2025, in addition to the Moll Vell area, a new 5,000sqm area within the Club de Mar was established as the Superyacht New Build Hub. With 21 premium berths, it was launched to meet the demand for larger and more new build exhibits. Here, visitors can expect to see the latest new build yachts from 35-80m from the brains of leading shipyards, naval architects, and design studios.
