A world leader in the steel and aluminium displacement yacht market, Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) was founded in 2010 by Ennio Cecchini, CEO, Vasco Buonpensiere, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Gabriele Virgili, one of the foremost entrepreneurs in the territory of Ancona and President of CdM.
Today, they have made their name as the world leader in the construction of luxury explorers ranging from 26-49m, built rigorously to handle the most challenging navigation in the most extreme latitudes, safely and reliably.
The quality of CdM’s boats is backed by the experience of a consolidated network of well-established specialists in sectors such as metalwork, carpentry, machine rooms, interior furnishing, all of whom have worked together with the CdM staff for decades to build yachts that are appreciated all over the world.
The shipyard builds different ranges: Darwin Class, Flexplorer, Project MG and the new EXP line. For owners who have a one-off yacht project designed, CdM can provide the naval engineering and hull development.
