Description
Built in 2006 by the renowned Dubois Fitzroy Yachts for both world cruising and day sailing, the impressive 127-foot (38.8m) sailing superyacht DAKOTA is as absolutely stunning as she is powerful. Her exterior styling is the product of Dubious Naval Architecture and her beautiful interior is courtesy of Redman Whitely Dixon Ltd. The yacht is an impressive amalgamation of tasteful elegance and supreme functionality. In fact, form, function, safety and comfort are the major hallmarks of this striking sailing yacht.
One of her most unique features is her retractable glass sliding doors that, with the push of a button, open to welcome guests into the large interior salon. Satin-varnished English walnut wood sets the tone of sumptuous comfort found throughout the yacht’s interior spaces. A large walnut dining table welcomes all guests for formal indoor meals while surrounded by large windows that allow for nearly 360-degree views. Forward of this space is the yacht’s navigation area, but the push of a button hides away the instrumentation so the space can be used as a buffet. The yacht’s upper salon features a fully outfitted wet bar, ideal for evening cocktails. The yacht’s full-beam lower salon has built-in seating, a sofa, coffee table and large hull portlights that offer impressive sea views. Forward of this space is the recently refitted galley that is fully equipped with all of the culinary equipment needed for a professional yacht chef to create five-star meals.
DAKOTA welcomes up to 10 guests in four delightful staterooms. The master suite is located aft and features a king-size bed, a settee, a vanity, full-length closets and a large en-suite bathroom. The VIP has a queen-size bed, a sofa, desk and an en-suite bathroom. Two additional staterooms offer twin and double berths, one with a Pullman. Both have en-suite bathrooms. All staterooms and a day head located on this deck, are accessed from the lower salon.
Luxury sailing yacht DAKOTA’s exterior spaces are as impressive as her interior. She features a built-in deck dining salon with a hardtop, ample built-in seating and sunning areas for guests to relax while cruising or while at anchor and a drop-down swim platform that allows for easy water access.
