She’s a charismatic and elegant tri-deck yacht built in 1965, fitted out to a very high standard,. Her original interior was lovingly restored to perfect condition in an extensive refit five years ago, when 21st century hotel systems were also installed to bring the levels of on board comfort and convenience right up to date.
CHANTAL has plenty of outside deck space on all three levels, providing a nice variety of comfortable places where guests can sit or recline to watch the spellbinding scenery scroll by. The open sundeck is the best place to scan the horizon for pod of whales, which are quite a common sight in these waters. It’s also a splendid social space for fair weather relaxation with day beds, lounge seating and a big jacuzzi pool up front with a spectacular, elevated view.
The upper aft deck has comfy seats with more shelter from the breeze and the main deck aft is a covered outdoor space where guests can gather for breakfast, lunch or dinner around the big oval dining table.
A cosy interior is crucial for cold-water cruising and CHANTAL has an opulent, exceptionally comfortable main deck lounge where you’ll feel instantly at home. There’s a bar, a dining table and a sociable lounge with soft leather sofas and a big TV. She also has a snug skylounge on the upper deck.
Stroll forward from here through the main deck lobby to the master suite, which has a magnificent main cabin with great views from the sofa, desk and king size bed, and a beautifully hand built, solid hardwood finish. The en suite master bathroom is roomy and opulent with a jacuzzi bathtub and a large, separate marble shower.
There’s also a full-beam suite on the lower deck, located aft with its own separate dressing room. The other cabins are two nice twins, one with bunk beds and a desk which would make a luxurious single cabin with the upper bunk folded away.
She carries two tenders – a beautiful classic wooden speedboat for high-speed excursions and a practical RIB for fishing and wildlife watching excursions.
