In expedition mode, you can use HODOR as a remote operating base. Send her off to faraway dive sites or fishing grounds, for example – with a top speed of 22 knots she’ll get there pretty quick – then fly out to her from the mothership by helicopter for a full day of adventure. In regular yacht support mode, send her ahead to the next destination while you enjoy a leisurely start to the day, arriving to find her boats launched, beach BBQ cooking, toys deployed and ready to go.
HODOR’s inventory is remarkable. Two of many highlights are an Airbus H145 helicopter and a SEAmagine Aurora 3C submarine. One of her five tenders is an 11.5m (38ft) Cigarette racing powerboat with an insane top speed of 120 knots. Another is a 17m (56ft) Nor-Tech centre console boat – an ultra-fast, long-range luxury guest limo – with 2,250hp of outboard power. There’s a 7.3m (24ft) catamaran RIB, ideal for diving operations, and a top-spec 7.3m (24ft) ski boat for wakeboarding and inflatable tows.
The 9m (30ft) Metal Shark amphibious beach landing craft transports her fleets of e-bikes, motorbikes and 10 all-terrain vehicles from ship to shore with no need for a harbour or crane. You’ll also have 10 jetskis, five SeaBobs, eight sea kayaks and three sailing dinghies at your disposal.
Her crew of 16 is just as impressive. Helicopter and submarine pilots, fishing guides and surf guides, RYA watersports instructors and a PADI Master dive trainer are among the team of experts on board, so you’ll be in very safe hands throughout your adventures on land, sea and air. Her dive centre is comprehensively equipped with both O2 and Nitrox facilities. She has an awesome beach party setup too, which includes a satcom system to provide Wi-Fi even on a remote, uninhabited island.
She has very comfortable day accommodation designed to receive up to 14 guests, so you’ll be relaxed as well as exhilarated on board. The main guest lounge, on the top deck aft of the wheelhouse, is a superb living room with several clusters of sofas, a dining table and a fully stocked Crestron movie and audio system. There’s also a beach club with a boarding and bathing platform amidships on the lower deck.
HODOR adds a huge amount of value when chartered in tandem with a liveaboard yacht. She, her crew and her amazing inventory are uniquely well equipped, experienced and qualified for whatever sort of adventure you have in mind.
