Get your workout in early in the sun deck’s large gym, with its variety of cardio equipment and weights. Then return to the full beam master suite on the main deck for a shower and coffee on one of the two private terraces. A relaxed and informal breakfast is served on the upper deck aft and adjoining lounge, which has two comfortable sofas and TV to catch up on the news.
After breakfast, the children will be itching to get out onto the water and enjoy LAUREL’s extensive range of toys, from the inflatable waterslide, trampoline and water balls to the various jetskis, kayaks and SeaBobs. The expert deck crew can give pointers on wakeboarding and waterskiing, or take you on a high speed rip around the bay with the towable inflatables. Then head ashore on LAUREL’s mountain bikes or try your hand at catching lunch on a tender with the deep sea and trolling fishing gear.
If a morning of R&R is more your thing, head to the sun deck with its variety of sunloungers, sun pads and a large jacuzzi in which to cool off. Or indulge in some self care in the wellness area, which includes a sauna, hammam and beauty room.
Everyone comes together on the upper deck aft for a shaded lunch, perhaps of freshly caught sushi if you got lucky. In the afternoon, the divers in your group will want to make use of the yacht’s scuba set-up, perhaps to visit a nearby wreck site, led by the two instructors on board.
For a leisurely afternoon, there are ample private spaces to find sanctuary. Enjoy a quiet moment with a book in the observation lounge or watch a movie in the library that doubles as a cinema on upper deck.
With the sun setting and a nearby port town’s lights twinkling on the water from afar, cocktails are served on main deck aft before you walk through the lounge to the formal dining area for an intimate dinner created by LAUREL’s talented chef.
LAUREL’s timelessly elegant guest accommodation is across seven spacious rooms including a master suite, four doubles, a twin and a convertible cabin. She is a very wheelchair-friendly yacht, with wide corridors and an elevator serving all guest decks.
