VAY Sailing yacht for charter

VAY is a 40m (131ft) sailing yacht with a nice variety of living spaces on her expansive main deck for lounging, dining and socialising. Her air-conditioned deckhouse offers panoramic views all round, and the five-cabin lower deck layout is designed to host 10 guests.

Refitted and upgraded in 2023, VAY is used mainly as a private yacht and is offered for charter in excellent condition, with service from an expert crew of seven. She has elegant classic hull lines with a clipper bow and counter stern, a cutter-rigged ketch sailplan and modern sailing systems.

Key features on deck include a foredeck lounge with sofas around a table, a large lounging pit located amidships and designed as a safe, secure and comfortable place for sunbathing while the yacht is on passage, a well-shaded outside dining area in the cockpit aft of the deckhouse, and full-beam day bed cushions on her aft deck, also with ample shade.

The deckhouse has a lounge area on one side and a dining table on the other side. Steps lead down to the lower deck accommodation where the master suite is a full-beam cabin located towards the bow with a king size bed, sofa and study desk, large en suite bathroom and separate walk-in closet. The other four guest cabins are all doubles with private en suite bathrooms, located amidships.

She comes with a 10m (33ft) chase boat with 600hp of twin outboard power, which is ideal for swift, comfortable transfers from yacht to port and for beach landings on small islands. She also carries a 5m (16ft) tender with inflatable tows and waterskis in both adults’ and kids’ sizes, plus a sea scooter, paddleboards and snorkelling gear. There’s a movie projector on the main deck aft; Wi-Fi internet and gym/exercise equipment are provided.
