Beyond 'super': unique yacht design with Burgess
Inside Monaco Yacht Show 2025: The Burgess Guide
Published 28 July 2025
The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 is the epitome of superyachting, with the finest yachts in the world gathered in one place. Held this year from 24–27 September in the glamorous Principality of Monaco, it brings the latest superyachts, world-class shipyards, and discerning clients together.
Whether you’re looking to buy, build, charter, or simply admire the finest yachts afloat, our complete guide will help you make the most of this iconic Monaco boat show experience.
What sets the Monaco Yacht Show apart?
Held annually in Port Hercules, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) stands head and shoulders above other yacht shows both in terms of the size of yachts visible and glamour and client appeal. With over 560 exhibitors, 120 superyachts, and over 30,000 visitors expected over the course of just four days, no other show exhibits such a large selection of 50m+ yachts available for sale at one time. It's a fantastic opportunity for prospective owners to step on board a wide variety of yachts from different shipyards and designers and really understand what it is they're looking for.
Burgess is typically at the forefront of the show, with an outstanding fleet of superyachts on display and experts on hand to discuss all your yachting needs. We’re excited to welcome you to our stand QH15, Quai de l'Hirondelle, where our team of specialists will be ready to answer any questions you may have about every aspect of yachting – from brokerage and charter to meeting with our new build team to discuss which shipyards and designers will be best suited to you and your project.
The Burgess Experience at MYS
If you are interested in attending this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, then there are a number of ticket options available. Burgess can organise Sapphire Experience passes that allow access to the show from Wednesday 25 September to Saturday 28 September, as well as invitations to a gala evening and private cocktail receptions hosted aboard some of the most prestigious yachts in the show. Alternatively, one, two, and three-day passes can also be arranged through our Burgess brokers. Get in touch.
From the moment you arrive, our team is on hand every step of the way to guide you through the show. Dedicated brokers will accompany you throughout the day, arranging and escorting you to viewings of the yachts you’re most interested in. We also offer Aston Martin chauffeur transfers to transport you around the city – be it from airports, hotels, or restaurants – as well as private LEKKER tenders in port to ensure seamless transport to and from yachts.
Luxury living in Monaco
Where to stay
Monaco has no shortage of superlative hotels, and some of Europe's finest can be found in this tiny principality. The iconic Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, overlooking Casino Square, delivers old-world glamour with Michelin-starred dining and a private wine cellar. For a more contemporary retreat, Hôtel Métropole blends Belle Époque elegance with modern sophistication, while the intimate Hôtel Hermitage offers refined tranquility with views of the superyachts below. Wherever you stay, expect impeccable service, unrivalled access, and the kind of exclusivity only Monaco can offer.
Fine dining
Monaco’s fine dining scene is as dazzling as the yachts in Port Hercule, making it the perfect complement to the Monaco Yacht Show experience. From the three-Michelin-starred Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse at Hôtel de Paris, where Riviera flavours are elevated to art form, to the intimate, sea-view terrace of Elsa at Monte-Carlo Beach, Monaco sets the standard for culinary excellence. For modern flair, try COYA Monte-Carlo’s bold Peruvian dishes or the Japanese-Peruvian fusion at Nobu. Whether it’s a long, leisurely lunch or an elegant dinner, every meal in Monaco is an event in itself.
Dress to impress
There is no official dress code for those attending the Monaco Yacht Show, but keep in mind that while September sees the temperatures drop from the soaring peak-summer highs, the average daily temperature is still in the mid 20s centigrade. Lightweight summer clothing is therefore advisable, along with comfortable slip-on shoes and sunglasses or a hat, with a sweater or jacket for evenings.
Extending your Monaco experience: French Riviera yacht charters
Highlights of the French Mediterranean
A French Mediterranean yacht charter offers a luxurious and unforgettable experience, combining stunning scenery, glamorous destinations, and world-class amenities. Its sophisticated culture and sun-kissed lifestyle make this jewel of the Med a premier destination for a superyacht charter.
With your base in Monaco, you can unlock the Riviera's most iconic towns, sailing along the coast and visiting Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Antibes, Cannes, and Saint-Tropez. Drop anchor near world-renowned beach clubs and explore chic coastal towns. As evening approaches, enjoy sundowners on deck before heading ashore for Michelin-starred restaurants and dancing the night away in exclusive clubs.
Cross-coastal charters: Monaco to Cinque Terre
A yacht trip from Monaco to Cinque Terre is the perfect way to experience the Italian Riviera. A beautifully scenic journey along the coast, it's renowned for its mild climate, ancient heritage sites, and picturesque villages.
During your Italian Riviera yacht rental, you can visit charming coastal towns and cities – think Genoa with its stunning natural harbour framed by mountains or Portofino with its colourful buildings – before finishing in historic Cinque Terre to meander the fishing harbours and steep streets that make this area so famous.
