Monaco Yacht Show 2026: Your guide to the world's leading superyacht event
Published 07 七月 2026
The Monaco Yacht Show 2026 is the epitome of superyachting, with the finest yachts in the world gathered in one place. Held this year from 23–26 September in the glamorous Principality of Monaco, it brings the latest superyachts, world-class shipyards, and discerning clients together.
Whether you’re looking to buy, build, charter, or simply admire the finest yachts afloat, our complete guide will help you make the most of this iconic Monaco boat show experience.
What is the Monaco Yacht Show?
Held annually in Port Hercules, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) stands head and shoulders above other yacht shows both in terms of the size of yachts visible and glamour and client appeal. With over 560 exhibitors, 120 superyachts, and over 30,000 visitors expected over the course of just four days, no other show exhibits such a large selection of 50m+ yachts available for sale at one time. It's a fantastic opportunity for prospective owners to step on board a wide variety of yachts from different shipyards and designers and really understand what it is they're looking for.
This year marks the show’s 35th anniversary, and visitors will have the opportunity to tour the yachts on display with their brokers as well as meet with designers, shipyards and other yachting representatives. In addition to the display of superyachts, the Monaco Yacht Show also features seminars, premiere launches from leading shipyards, and presentations on the latest design and technology trends in the industry.
When and where is the Monaco Yacht Show 2026?
Wednesday September 23: 10:00–18:30
Thursday 24 and Friday 25 September: 10:00–18:30
Saturday 26 September: 10:00–18:00
The Monaco Yacht Show runs from Wednesday 23 to Saturday 26 September. The Wednesday of the show is by invitation only with VIP passes issued by brokers and shipyards, and the rest of the week is open to all visitors holding tickets.
Located at the heart of the Principality, the idyllic waterfront setting of Port Hercules Monaco is the venue for this prestigious boat show. Home to 700 of the most sought-after berths in the world, the port can accommodate yachts of up to 135m in length and is therefore ideal for an in-water display of some of the world’s largest yachts.
The superyachts on display
Visitors can expect to see the very best of the global yachting market, offering the chance to step aboard a range of yachts and compare different layouts, designers, shipyards and ownership possibilities.
For those looking to buy a superyacht, the show brings together an exceptional fleet of luxury yachts in Monaco. Alongside motor yachts, the show regularly features some of the world’s most elegant luxury sailing yachts for a compelling alternative to motor yacht ownership. Viewings are typically arranged by appointment through a broker, giving prospective owners the chance to experience the yacht first-hand, discuss suitability, and better understand the practicalities of superyacht ownership.
The show is also a key destination for clients interested in new build yacht projects, with leading shipyards, designers and naval architects in attendance.
Charter opportunities at the Monaco Yacht Show are another important part of the experience. While many yachts are presented for sale, the event also allows clients to speak with charter specialists, discover available yachts for future itineraries and gather inspiration for Mediterranean, Caribbean and more adventurous charter plans.

Luxury living in Monaco
Where to stay
Monaco has no shortage of superlative hotels, and some of Europe's finest can be found in this tiny principality. The iconic Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, overlooking Casino Square, delivers old-world glamour with Michelin-starred dining and a private wine cellar. For a more contemporary retreat, Hôtel Métropole blends Belle Époque elegance with modern sophistication, while the intimate Hôtel Hermitage offers refined tranquility with views of the superyachts below. Wherever you stay, expect impeccable service, unrivalled access, and the kind of exclusivity only Monaco can offer.
Fine dining
Monaco’s fine dining scene is as dazzling as the yachts in Port Hercule, making it the perfect complement to the Monaco Yacht Show experience. From the three-Michelin-starred Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse at Hôtel de Paris, where Riviera flavours are elevated to art form, to the intimate, sea-view terrace of Elsa at Monte-Carlo Beach, Monaco sets the standard for culinary excellence. For modern flair, try COYA Monte-Carlo’s bold Peruvian dishes or the Japanese-Peruvian fusion at Nobu. Whether it’s a long, leisurely lunch or an elegant dinner, every meal in Monaco is an event in itself.
Events and networking opportunities
The Monaco Yacht Summit forms part of the show’s official programme, bringing together industry experts, designers, engineers, yacht owners, buyers and their representatives for conferences and round-table discussions on the future of yachting, from sustainability and technological innovation to market trends and investment strategies. It is a valuable way for prospective owners and their advisors to gain insight into the sector while making the most of the Monaco networking events taking place throughout the week.
Come the evening, the private social calendar in and around the show typically includes invite-only cocktail parties on board the yachts, private dinners at Monaco’s leading restaurants and exclusive media and client events hosted across the Principality’s most prestigious venues.
How to prepare for the Monaco Yacht Show
With over 30,000 visitors expected to attend, it’s worth organising ahead to avoid the crowds. From yacht viewings and watertoy trials to shipyard interactions, designer consultations and evening events, the more organised you can be and the better planned your visit, the more you will get out of the show.
Access to the yachts on display is at the discretion of the owner and their management and can only be organised through your Burgess broker, who can also arrange your tickets for the show. In order to optimise your time at the show, appointments are usually made and planned in advance by your broker, so it’s usually a good idea to discuss what you want to see.
