Description

CHIRON is a stunning 34.8m (114ft) motor yacht, built in 2001 by the esteemed Nordlund shipyard in the United States. Representing the perfect fusion of luxury and functionality, CHIRON features sleek exterior lines and naval architecture by the legendary Ed Monk Jr., while her warm, inviting interior was crafted in collaboration between Pokela Design and Mary Flores. She delivers the generous guest spaces of a superyacht combined with the rugged capability of a sportfishing vessel—a truly unique blend that turns heads wherever she sails.

Accommodating up to six guests in three beautifully appointed cabins, CHIRON also carries a crew of six to ensure a seamless and luxurious experience onboard. The full-beam Master suite, located on the lower deck, serves as a private sanctuary for the owner, complete with a spacious ensuite bathroom featuring dual sinks and an oversized shower. Two additional twin guest cabins, each with their own ensuite bathrooms, offer comfortable accommodations and excellent privacy for guests.

CHIRON's layout strikes the perfect balance between privacy and sociability. Her expansive main deck lounge is designed for entertaining, with abundant seating, a large dining table with wraparound bench seating, and an adjacent open-plan galley—perfectly positioned for effortless service. Forward, the raised pilothouse offers exceptional visibility for safe and confident navigation.

Her generous outdoor spaces are equally impressive. The expansive flybridge features a secondary helm station, two wraparound lounges ideal for alfresco dining, and panoramic 360-degree views. Aft of the flybridge, the boat deck offers ample space for tender storage. Above the flybridge is the crow's nest offering an additional third helm station. Down on the main deck, the aft deck is ideal for relaxing, dining or observing the action in the dedicated fishing cockpit below—an excellent nod to her sportfish versatility.

Powered by twin Detroit Diesel 2000 Series engines producing a combined 2,700 horsepower, CHIRON cruises comfortably at 15 knots and can reach a top speed of 21 knots. Her impressive 2,100-nautical mile range at an economical cruising speed of 10 knots makes her well-suited for extended voyages. With a shallow draft of just 1.8 meters (6 feet), she’s perfectly equipped for exploring island chains and coastal waters with ease.
