ELYSIAN is a Westport 130 – a 40-metre (130ft) semi-custom tri-deck yacht with a semi-displacement hull form, built in fibreglass by Westport Yachts in 2003 and delivered in 2004. She had a major refit in 2016 and has been updated since then on an annual basis. New teak decks were fitted in 2016 and 2020.

A new hardtop was fitted to her sundeck and the exterior furniture was replaced in 2016. The sundeck has a spacious lounge area forward, a sit-up bar amidships and sunpads aft. The upper aft deck has built-in seating and loose chairs around a table, a jacuzzi and an open-air boat deck aft with a crane. The main deck aft cockpit is large and fully shaded with bar, dining and lounge areas. There is also a passenger seating area built into the foredeck

Her total internal volume adds up to 281GT, with accommodation on three main levels. She is designed to host up to 10 guests in five cabins, with separate quarters for up to eight crew in four cabins. The main saloon, skylounge, all guest cabins and most other areas were refitted in 2016 with new furnishings, fabrics, carpets, wall coverings, onyx stonework, light fixtures and soft goods throughout.

The master suite is a full-beam cabin located forward on the main deck with a sofa, desk, king size bed and large windows. Its en suite bathroom is finished in marble and includes a bathtub. The other four guest cabins – two doubles with queen size beds and two twins, all with private en suite bathrooms – are amidships on the lower deck.

The main saloon has a lounge area aft with two sofas, two armchairs and twin coffee tables. It’s separated by a stone-topped counter from the dining area which has a 10-seat oval glass table. The galley was refitted in 2016 and has a breakfast bar. There is observation seating in the pilothouse and the skylounge has a bar, sofas, armchairs and a study area.

Powered by twin 2,735hp MTU 12V 4000 M90 diesel engines, her top speed is 23 knots. She cruises at 14 knots s of 2,500nm. Her relatively shallow draught of 2m (6ft 6in) is useful for shoal-water cruising in places like the Bahamas. Her stabilisers were upgraded to a new set of Naiad 19sq ft fins in 2019.
