LA POLONIA is a fabulous 46.8m (153.6ft) motor yacht delivered in 1999 by the US yard Swiftships. Built entirely in aluminium with a shallow draft of only 2.7m (8.1ft), to ABS classification and completed her latest class survey in 2019. The yacht underwent a significant refit in 2014 including the fitting of two brand new main engines and the comprehensive maintenance plan has seen further extensive upgrades to the yacht in 2018/2019. Only having two owners since her launch is testament to the enduring appeal of the yacht.

Her sun deck has a daybed surrounded by a semi-circular bank of seating forward, a bar midships and seating aft with plenty of versatile deck space for exercise equipment, yoga or entertainment. The upper deck aft has deck space for seating and is used to store a custom built X-craft tender during passage making. The main deck aft presents options for open air dining and entertainment.

Inside there is a matt mahogany lined full beam sky lounge with a 60in TV on the forward bulkhead and a variety of seating. The main saloon has a bar starboard aft and seating forward, aft and to port. There is a dropdown projector and screen for the Crestron AVIT system and a formal dining room forward of the bulkhead. She welcomes 10 guests in five cabins and the flexibility of the accommodation is a real advantage, with two staterooms that could be considered suitable for the owner. A full beam VIP suite forward on the main deck featuring an en suite with bath and shower, a lounge area and private office. Or another full beam cabin on the lower deck with a walk in wardrobe, his and hers bathroom, jacuzzi bath and shower. Two further twin cabins are found nearby and additionally on the upper deck, one final double cabin with elevated views and greater privacy.

Twin Caterpillar C32 diesel engines, which have logged only 1,400 hours, give her a top speed of 14 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and she has a range of 2,400nm at cruising speed.
