Description
The ISA Granturismo 67 is a 66.4m (218ft) trideck yacht with a full displacement hull form. Currently in build at Palumbo Superyachts’ ISA shipyard in Ancona, Italy, she is being constructed to Lloyd’s classification with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and is due for delivery in 2023. Her contemporary exterior design is by Enrico Gobbi with naval architecture by Palumbo’s in-house team.
Viewed from afar, the most striking feature of her exterior design is the continuous LED strip lighting that highlights the flowing contours of her lines, making her stand out in the dark. In close-up, however, it’s the huge infinity pool in her stern, where most yachts have a transom garage, that really stands out.
From the swim platform, broad steps lead up on both sides of the pool to the spacious lounge. Covered sidedecks run forward to amidships outside the saloon and four flights of steps ascend to the upper aft deck, which has ample open air seating astern and a sheltered al fresco dining area. Forward of the wheelhouse on this level is a seating and sunbathing area in a recessed Portuguese bridge, and there’s a helipad on the foredeck.
She has 1,200GT of internal volume with smart contemporary interior design by Luca Dini. She’s configured to host up to 12 passengers in six cabins with separate quarters for a crew of up to 14 in eight cabins. Two different accommodation layouts are available with the master suite on either the main deck or upper deck.
With the owner’s suite forward on the upper deck, the wheelhouse is forward on the sun deck with a sheltered bar and open air lounge aft. Alternatively, the owner's suite can be located forward on the main deck with a fold-out balcony, leaving space on the sun deck for a glass-fronted jacuzzi with sunpads on both sides and a panoramic sofa. Both versions have a captain’s cabin next to the wheelhouse.
Two different beach club configurations are also available, one with large sea terraces either side, another with a sea terrace to port and additional tender storage to starboard. Tenders and toys are carried inside shell doors below the foredeck.
Two Caterpillar 3521C diesel engines with a combined output of 4,734hp give a top speed of 18.5 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. Her maximum cruising range is 5,500nm at 12 knots or 4,500nm at 14.5 knots. Non-retractable fin stabilisers with zero speed functionality are fitted.
