ALPHA WAVES Motor yacht for charter

A brand new Benetti tri-deck vessel with some notably innovative design features, ALPHA WAVES is the absolute state of the art in contemporary Italian yachting. She’s incredibly efficient in terms of the luxury she delivers – this 40-metre (133ft) yacht offers so much living space, inside and out, that she’s been aptly described as a 45-metre (150ft) vessel in disguise. And as you’d expect for a next-generation yacht, her fuel consumption is relatively low.

Designed to host 10 guests in five cabins with service from a crew of nine, she has a host of special features including a dedicated gym/wellness centre. An elevator connects all three levels from the main deck up to the sundeck and she’s wheelchair accessible throughout. The master suite has an outdoor balcony. The vast, elongated stern with its big heated pool, mezzanine lounge and fold-down side terraces is a stand-out highlight.

A graceful arc of floor-to-ceiling glass is all that separates the multi-level outdoor space astern from the impressively stylish lounge. Anchored in a bay with the glass slid wide open, more than half of the whole main deck becomes one vast, seamlessly flowing space from the bar through the lounge and out past the seats and sunbeds to the pool and the fleet of tenders and toys.

Benetti are renowned for clever use of space, and ALPHA WAVES is exceptional in this regard. The foredeck lounge is both snug and expansive, with seats for a large group to gather and four sunbeds too. The upper aft deck is a stylish lounge with armchairs in shade and sofas in full sun. And the sundeck is a magnificent, uncluttered space with a bar at the forward end, an open-air lounge facing aft and a splendid dining table amidships with ample shade. Glass bulwarks fore and aft make the excellent views even better.

The sky lounge makes great use of the yacht’s full beam. There’s a cosy living room on the port-hand side with a huge TV, and an elegant formal dining area opposite, to starboard.

The master suite is a full-beam cabin at the forward end of the main deck with a seating area on one side of the main cabin, a big walk-in wardrobe and a marble en suite bathroom. The other four cabins on the lower deck include two VIP doubles and two twins.

She carries three tenders and a wide range of toys. Highlights include a 12-metre (40ft) power cat with 1,200hp, a dedicated fishing boat, SeaBobs, kitesurfing kit – and a whole lot more.
