The multi-award-winning BLACK PEARL 105m (344ft) is, without question, the pinnacle of decadence. It is decadent in its technical innovation, its green credentials, its Louis XVI-inspired interiors, in its features, and the service levels its 26 crew provide.

First, she is a genuine sailing yacht. At the push of a button, her three state-of-the-art DynaRig masts can unfurl nearly 3,000sqm of sail in just seven minutes, achieving a top speed of 24.5 knots. Under sail, her motors turn into hydro-generators to top up her battery bank, allowing for zero fossil fuel consumption and silent operation with no generators running at anchor.
On the main deck aft, the floor of the counter-current pool rises to create a dancefloor, with a sound system to match. The lower deck wellness spa includes a sauna, steam room and beauty salon. Next door, her beach club, full beam with bar and sea terraces on both sides, serves numerous purposes: as a boarding area for her twin Pascoe custom tenders and an array of watertoys, gym, massage room, nightclub and cinema. For open-air cinema, the mizzen mast’s lowest sail unfurls to create a 14x9m cinema screen for the upper deck projector.
For special celebrations, the main deck is the place to be. On arrival, there will be drinks from the lounge bar, and then you can mingle with your guests inside as the baby grand piano plays, or outside on the sun terrace. When it’s time to dine, move through to the fine dining room, seating 20 guests, which has fold-down balconies either side for infinity views. The cuisine is exquisite, and after dinner, you and your guests withdraw to the library for digestifs.
The upper deck’s outside dining table, shaded by the overhang, welcomes 16-18 guests for more formal informality. There are further al fresco options for casual, everyday dining: up on the flybridge, the main deck aft and the upper deck’s sun lounge. If you chose to dine at sea level in the beach club, no doubt the crew could accommodate your wishes.
All guest suites for her 10 guests are on the lower deck, with step-free access to the wellness spa and beach club. The master suite is forward, full beam and vast, with his-and-hers en suites, one with a bath, the other a shower, his-and-hers dressing rooms and a private lounge. Two VIP suites each have a private lounge and a double cabin and a twin cabin.

Exuma Cays Land and Sea National Park
Established in 1958, this was the first land and sea park of its kind, created to protect a pristine marine environment. Fishing is prohibited, but there’s plenty to explore above and below the waterline.

A sperm whale that allegedly died after ingesting plastic waste in 1995 is now memorialised within the Exuma Land and Sea National Park, where its skeleton is displayed as a sobering reminder of marine pollution.
